Scope of the Symposium

The 8th International Symposium on Semiconductor Light Emitting Devices (ISSLED2010) will be held in Beijing, China.

This symposium aims to provide a platform for scientists and engineers to discuss progress and future trends in the rapidly advancing wide bandgap semiconductor science and technologies, and their applications into visible and ultraviolet light emitting diodes and diode lasers.

The format of the symposium provides invited and contributed presentations during the meeting, followed by alternative tours of cultural and historic sceneries in Beijing.

The symposium will be a conference sharing the information among all participants, and memorable experience in China.

ISSLED2010 is organized by Peking University and sponsored by a number of organizations which we gratefully acknowledge: Texas Tech University, State Key Laboratory For Artificial Microstructure and Mesoscopic Physics and National Natural Science Foundation of China.
